The following is a breakdown of incidents by type for 2010:Fire: 668 Emergency Medical Services: 19,778Hazardous Conditions: 350Good Intent: 1,963Service Calls: 2,115Other: 1,747The fire category includes house fires, car fires, brush fires, etc.Emergency medical services includes motor vehicle collisions, heart attacks, diabetic problems, etc.Hazardous conditions consist of natural gas leaks, fuel spills, electrical problems and overheated devices. Good intent incidents are situations where the reporting party believed there was an emergency; however, their concern was unfounded (i.e. steam mistaken for smoke). Service calls consist of vehicle lockouts, assistance with resetting an alarm system, smoke removal, etc.
