Offering MonthlyCPR/First Aid Classes

This eight (8) hour course teaches basic first aid, CPR (adult, child, & infant), and the use of an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator). This course covers all subjects required by the WA State Department of Labor & Industries for first aid classes. Upon completion of this course, students receive an electronic Basic First Aid/CPR card. The card is valid for two (2) years from the date of the class.

Please note: This class is NOT for Healthcare Provider Certification (HCP). Students are responsible for ensuring that this class meets their requirements.

Critical Course Information

  • We offer free CPR and First Aid training to residents within our district. These courses are designed to increase access to lifesaving training and help community members feel prepared to respond during a cardiac emergency.
  • Class space is limited to 14 students on a first come first serve basis. You will receive confirmation of your class reservation for the date selected.
  • All classes are held the first Saturday of every month at Station 71 (902 7th St NW, Puyallup, WA).
  • The class begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM. Students must complete the entire class to receive certification.
  • Certification is an eCard from the American Heart Association (AHA), delivered via email after the completion of the course. Please allow for up to 10 days for the card to be delivered. Sometimes it ends up in a junk folder, so don’t forget to check that.
