Share Your Perspective on the Future Identity of Our Fire District

Central Pierce Fire & Rescue is seeking feedback from community members, employees, and community partners about the future identity of the merged fire district.

In January 2026, Central Pierce Fire & Rescue, Graham Fire & Rescue, and Orting Valley Fire & Rescue merged into one organization. As the district continues moving forward following the merger, the Board of Fire Commissioners wants to better understand how the organization should be represented in the future.

When we say “identity,” we mean how the fire district is represented to the public through its name, logo, and connection to the communities it serves.

We Want to Hear From You

The Fire District Identity Survey asks participants to consider three possible approaches for the future:

  • Keep the current name and logo.
  • Keep the current name and update the logo and visual appearance.
  • Adopt a new name and new logo.

Participants will also be asked about their perceptions of the current organization, the reasons behind their preferred approach, and the priorities they believe should guide future decisions.

No decisions have been made. The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback and better understand employee and community perspectives before any future decisions are considered.

Take the Survey

The survey is open through August 27, 2026, and takes approximately five to ten minutes to complete.

Your perspective is an important part of this process. We encourage you to take the survey and help inform future discussions about the identity of your fire district.
